A tense atmosphere on Christmas Eve in Mozambique after disputed election results




Mozambique's capital Maputo and northern cities were hit by more unrest on Tuesday, a day after a top court confirmed the ruling party's victory in a disputed election. More than 100 people have died in the post-election violence. Opposition leader Venancio Mondlen called the court's decision “an insult to the people”.
