Amazon is downsizing some of its operations Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) The plans are to become the latest major company to scale back such plans, which critics call “woke.”

“We worked to unify employee groups under one umbrella and create programs that are open to all,” reads the memo, obtained by FOX Business. “We focus on programs with proven results, rather than individual groups building programs — and we also aim to foster a truly more inclusive culture.”

The release of the memo, which was first reported by Bloomberg on Friday, followed a report the same day from The Information that Amazon had recently removed sections titled Equity for Black People and LGBTQ+ rights from its “Our Positions” page. Website
