Amazon is closing its Try before you buy Premier program at the end of January. The move, which was first reported Informationwas announced with a notice at the top of the Prime Try Before You Buy page stating that the last day of its validity will be January 31st. The service has been available to participants since 2018, when it was first released as Prime Wardrobe. With it, you could choose up to six items to try on and send back what you didn't want for free within a week. You'll only be charged for the items you choose to keep, and you'll be able to choose your clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories.
In a statement for CNBCAn Amazon spokesperson said: “Given the combination of Try Before You Buy, scaling to only a limited number of products, and customers increasingly using our new AI-powered features such as virtual try-on, personalized size recommendations, highlight reviews and enhanced size tables. To make sure they find what's right for them, we're phasing out the Try Before You Buy option from January 31, 2025.” If you are still using this service, you better get your latest orders as quickly as possible.
