An update to the Apple Mail app introduces a new set of features in iOS 18.2

How to update your software to iOS 18.2 or later

First things first, let's upgrade your software to iOS 18.2 or later:

• Tap Summary
• Select Software Update
• Tap Upgrade Now

Using Groups in Mail on iPhone

In iOS 18.2 and later, the An email tool improves email management by automatically sorting messages into specific categories. This feature is designed to help you find and manage your emails quickly.

Summary of groups

• The best: Contains your messages and time-related information.
• Transactions: Tracks seals, receipts and shipping notices.
• Updates: Includes news, newsletters and social media updates.
• Explanations: Shows coupons and sales emails.

Note: If a message in the Changes, Updates or Updates section contains content that is not time-sensitive, it will appear again in the Originals section.

IOS 18 TEXTING AND MESSAGING FUNCTIONS

Using the New Mail sorting feature

Now that you're running iOS 18.2 or later, let's take a look at how to use the new Mail Splitter feature:

• Open the An email tool on your iPhone.
• Above, you will see four new categories: The best, Transactions, Updates and Promotions.
• Click any group to see emails tailored specifically for that role.
• If you want to see all your emails together, swipe from right to left at the top to reveal “All emails” choice.
• Once you've updated to iOS 18.2 or later, it will be the default “Categories” vision If you click on the button three horizontal dots in the upper right corner of your inbox, you'll see it set to Groups.
• If you prefer not to use categories, click the button three horizontal dots and then choose List View.

• If you don't have one working, check yours “Wishes” or “Advertisements” folders.
• Tap on left arrow.
• Click where it says “Separate Sender.”
• Tap The best.
• Then, tap Go ahead.

This simple act helps to show its importance. Once you forward an email to a Primary Group, the Apple Mail app will learn from this action.
