The southern Sudanese city killed almost 60 people and brought about 1300 people in the last three days, health care bodies reported on Saturday.
As a result, the outbreak in the southern city of Kostya was charged mainly in the contaminated drinking water after the city's water supply plant stopped from the attack of the infamous paramile group, the Ministry of Health said. The group has been fighting the country's military for about two years.
The ministry said 58 people were killed in a statement and 1,293 others fell ill on Thursday and Saturday.
The ministry said it took a number of outbreak control measures, including launching a cholera vaccination company in the city.
From July to October last year, the disease killed more than 600 and became more than 21,000.
Cholera is a very contagious disease that causes diarrhea, leading to severe dehydration and can be lethal if not immediately treated, depending on the WHO. It is transmitted through the intake of contaminated food or water.
