BBC on the test exchange with the President of Belarus


The longtime Belarus leader Alexander Lukashenko, called the “Last Dictator in Europe,” was re -elected president with 86.8% of the vote.

The result was condemned as a shame by Lukashenko's opponents and Western governments.

There were four other names of the newsletter – carefully selected so as not to be a challenge for the current management – and no credible contenders were allowed to participate in the election, as all opposition data were either in prison or exile abroad.

At a press conference of Mammoth a four -and -a -half hour conference, Russia's BBC editor Steve Rosenberg asked questions about democracy and political prisoners.
