Jeff Bezos, owner of aerospace company Blue Origin, is “very optimistic” about the incoming White House administration, despite President-elect Trump's close relationship with SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.
Early Monday morning, Blue Origin cleared its New Glen rocket launch Cape Canaveral “To troubleshoot a vehicle subsystem problem.” The company said in X that it is exploring opportunities for its next launch attempt.

Musk, who spent more than a quarter of a billion dollars campaign for trump He has had the ear of the president-elect on space issues.
Last month, Musk said the United States should first send missions directly to Mars rather than the moon, raising industry concerns about a major overhaul of NASA's space exploration program.
Asked if he was concerned about changes to NASA's moon program, Bezos said: “My view is that we should do both – we should go to the moon and we should go to Mars.”

“What we shouldn't do is start and stop things. We have to continue the lunar program,” he said.
Bezos, the chairman and founder of Amazon, is the second richest man in the world with a net worth of $233.1 billion, according to Forbes.

Amazon has donated $1 million to the Trump Inauguration Fund and will broadcast the event on its Prime Video service. Bezos has met with Trump but told Reuters: “We haven't really talked about space.”
In his second term, Trump is expected to make sweeping changes to NASA's moon program, focusing heavily on sending missions to Mars.
