At CES 2025; The startup's creators have announced an expansion into another wing of the animal kingdom. Wonder is a new sub-brand that brings some magic to the world of insects — specifically pollinators like butterflies and bees.
The brand launched this year with a pair of Petal and Wonder Blocks products. The former is compatible with existing Bird Buddy products. It is similar to a tracking camera for insects.
“Petal seamlessly integrates the latest engineering and technology to stream wildlife live to your smartphone or smart device,” notes Wonder. “Using an advanced AI layer, Nature Intelligence, the new camera tool brings the dynamic world to your fingertips, from when birds are hatching to butterflies flapping their wings, flowers blooming and bees pollinating.”
The Petal name comes from the product's flower-like shape, with the solar panel as the leaf on the product's stem. Meanwhile, the trunk is bent as a stake in the ground or around a tree branch.
Wonder describes Blocks as “a modular set for building vibrant and biodiverse natural worlds.” In essence, It is a plant pot, seed tray butterfly feeding; A cylindrical system with various elements including bee and beetle “hotels”. The flower can be mounted on top.
