Two versions of the product will be available at launch in March: a stand-alone bathroom; Priced at $250 and a stand-up shower, the price goes up another $50.
In other words, the product is similar in function to the products. Bird company and Birdfy's own smart birdhouse. There's a pair of lenses on top: a 2-megapixel one that can shoot 1080p video and another 3-megapixel one that can shoot 2K video.
The system uses AI-powered objects to detect and photograph bathing birds, accessible through the Birdfy app. The standard AI subscription includes a bathroom and is free. The company charges a monthly premium if it wants to actually identify the breed.
Birdfy announced the Feeder 2 Duo at CES 2025, a $420 bird feeder that offers two different camera angles.
