Canada is prepared to contribute soldiers to Great Britain and the “coalitions of volunteers” of peace forces, if he said in Ukraine that Bill Blair said on Wednesday on Wednesday.
He attention at the annual Conference of Defense Associations Institute in Ottawa.
After a weekend meeting of allies in London, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that Canada “looks at the best ways he could help.” He admitted that all options were on the table.
Blair's comments on Wednesday went a step further, saying that active discussions were underway.
“Canada is ready and is able to contribute to this strength,” Blair said to the reporters after her speech. “However, we also believe that there are important discussions that should be held in relation to a security guarantee for Ukraine and foreign forces that we serve.”
Minister of National Defense Bill Blair said on Wednesday that discussions should be held on a security guarantee for Ukraine and the forces that will serve there.
The Prime Minister of Great Britain Keir Starmer managed the initiative, which is submitted after a catastrophic, television accident in an oval office between US President Donald Trump and the President of the Ukrainian Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Peace forces, led by Great Britain and France, could see how many European countries put shoes in Earth in eastern Ukraine if there were a suspension of weapons or a peace settlement. The point is that the presence of Western soldiers will stop Russian President Vladimir Putin from re -armament and then an attempt to defeat all Ukraine.
Forces, however, would have to be supported by security guarantees, especially from Americans. The lack of such guarantees in a mineral resource agreement between the USA and Ukraine contributed to the public argument between Trump and Zelenskyy.
Starmer said that Great Britain, France and Ukraine are working on a peace agreement that could be presented to Washington.
The US vice president JD Vance rejected the effort and said that the American participation in the Ukrainian economy was a “better security guarantee than 20,000 soldiers from a random country that has not fought war for 30 or 40 years.”
The commentary caused indignation in Great Britain and among American Democrats. Among other things, Vance's comments ignore the fact that Canadian, British and French forces fought alongside Americans in Afghanistan. The United Kingdom also joined the US during the invasion of Iraq.

The “coalition of volunteers” would allow countries – all NATO members – to act in a group, but not under the umbrella of the Western Alliance. This would move political misunderstandings in NATO, where Hungary and Slovakia took pro -Russian positions, and caused obstacles to the allied consensus.
Until now, Russia has rejected the idea of peace force – NATO, the European Union or otherwise.
Baltic States – Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Finland – expressed quiet interest in joining Great Britain, France and Canada. Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has recently been quoted, saying that he is open to the idea of putting peace soldiers into Ukraine.
