A wildfire that engulfed the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles has forced tens of thousands of people to evacuate as it burned homes in the neighborhood, including those of celebrities.
The Palisades Fire, driven by strong Santa Ana winds, started in the Santa Monica Mountains late Tuesday morning and burned 200 acres in an hour, growing to nearly 3,000 acres by sunset . FOX Weather reported.

In a series of videos, Pratt showed how quickly the fire moved up the hill in their direction.
“No, this doesn't look good,” Pratt said as he watched the fire on the mountain behind their home. “First time I saw the flames coming. Oh, man. Okay, I'll go pack I think.”
He later posted a video from his car saying he watched their house burn on their security cameras.
Montag posted a video inside the grocery store saying their house is on fire, but they are safe.

Actor Chris Pratt posted on X and asked people to join him in praying for the “brave firefighters who sacrifice so much to save our homes and our city.”
“Jesus protects the lives of those fighting the flames and the lives of those who could not escape,” Pratt wrote.

Actress Denise Crosby, also in the X post, said she is safe, along with her husband and dog, but is not sure if she has a home.
Crosby shared a video from the beach Tuesday night and followed up that post with videos from earlier in the day showing smoke near her backyard and off Sunset Boulevard.
Photographer James Woods posted a series of videos on X showing his and neighbors' homes surrounded by smoke and flames. Woods said her family left the area safely, and praised first responders and members of the public for removing the children from the elementary schools. within the environment.
“To all the wonderful people who reached out to us, thank you for being so concerned. Just letting you know we were able to get out,” Woods wrote about X. “I don't know right now if our home is still safe. it is standing, but unfortunately the houses in our little street are not there.”
Dancer Derek Hough shared photos on his Instagram account of the fire and said he and his wife were preparing to leave with their pets.
“Winds are hitting 100mph, and we're packing up, getting ready to get away with JUST our five animals,” Hough wrote. “It's scary when the power lines explode around us and the fire spreads quickly.”
