Qualcomm CEMON DEPARTMENT CRISTIANO AMON told CNBC that her latest modem would create a large distance in the scope of performance compared to Applewho first made a technology expedition.

Modems are a key element of smartphones that connect the device to the mobile network. Qualcomm is one of the largest contemporary suppliers in the world and has been an Apple iPhone company for years.

But in 2019 Apple bought an Intel modem View of the design of your own internal modem, just like in smartphone processors.

Apple has released its first modem and did it quietly with the launch iPhone 16E last month. The cellular modem is called C1.

This week, Qualcomm has announced X85, the latest high -class modem. In an interview with CNBC on Tuesday, Amon advertised better modem performance, suggesting that he would create a large gap between him and Apple.

“This is the first modem that has so much artificial intelligence that in fact it increases the scope of modem's performance so that the modem can cope with weaker signals,” said Amon CNBC.

“What it does will establish a huge delta between the efficiency of Android Premium devices and iOS devices when you compare what Qualcomm can do, compared to what Apple is doing.”

IPhone 16E is the cheapest Apple smartphone in the latest offer. Several reports suggest that Apple is working on modems because of its high -class iPhones.

Amon repeated the statement that he had previously issued that he expected Qualcomm to not provide Apple Modems in 2027.

When dealing with potential technology progress using the Apple modem, Amon said that the components will be crucial for artificial intelligence, and Qualcomm will be able to solve it.

“If the modem is important, there is always a place for Qualcomm technology,” said Amon.

“In the era of artificial intelligence, modems will be more important than ever.
