Jim has worked in the financial services industry for over 25 years and has joined Argus in 1993. He is Director of Research at Argus and a member of the Investment Policy Committee. Jim has been instrumental in building the proprietary pricing models of Argus, which is a key part of Argus's proprietary six -point score system. It also oversees Argus technical analysis products; writes the portfolio selector report and other publications; and manages several Argus model portfolios. As a senior analyst, Jim deals with communication equipment, semi -conductors, information processing and electronic manufacturing services companies. It is a CFA Charter holder, and is a three-time winner in the All-Star “Best on the Street” survey of Wall Street Journal. In July 2010, McGraw-Hill Professional published Jim's book, “an equity valuation for analysts and investors.” The book, one of the treatment of one volume of the financial modeling and pricing process, presents the proprietary Argus pricing methodology called peer -derived value.
