Convicted felon wanted after two children found dead in Wisconsin


Wisconsin authorities are searching for a convicted felon after two children and an adult found dead.

The New Lisbon Police Department said a the child disappeared Sunday night and was last seen with Virgil G. Thew, 47.

On Monday morning, the police discovered that another child was missing.

A few hours later, authorities said two children and an adult were found dead inside a home on West Bridge Street.

It is not clear if the two children found are the same ones reported missing.

The State of Wisconsin The Crime Lab, Juneau County Sheriff's Office and Monroe County Sheriff's Department processed the home.

Thew has been identified as a person of interest, according to police. He is wanted by Wisconsin Probation and Parol and should be considered “armed and dangerous.”

Parole records show that he is now actively supervising the community. Thew was found guilty of committing a twenty criminals, including possession of a firearm by a felon, burglary and theft.

He entered with to get out of prison almost every year since 1995 and was released last year in 2012, according to reports.

“If you are seen, do not face him or approach him,” officials wrote in a statement.

Thew is 5-foot-10, weighs 150 pounds, and was last seen wearing a dark-colored coat, blue jeans and a hat.

The Juneau County Sheriff's Office told Fox News Digital Tuesday afternoon that it would not comment on the case.
