David Beckham talks to cheap Bryer from CNBC at the World Economic Forum 2025.
In an interview with the CNBC leading cheap Bryer during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, David Beckham told about the “simple values” that his parents taught him and which he gave his children.
The former football star took part in the WEF for the first time to receive a crystal prize in the field of philanthropy for her work for the protection of defenseless children as an ambassador of good will UNICEF since 2005.
Bryer asked Beckham where his passion for making changes came from and what values his parents instilled in.
“I think they have instilled the right values in me, and these are simple values, such as treating everyone in the same way and showing respect to people. I tried to do the same with my children, “said Beckham.
The 49-year-old father of four children said that his youngest son, Harper, is 13 years old, and the oldest, Brooklyn, 25.
“All my boys know that they pass a woman through the door before she does it. They get up when the lady leaves the table, give themselves their hands, keeps eye contact. You know all these values, their pleasures, thanks to them.
“All my children said” please “and” thank you “at the age of two or three. We try to instill our children's simple values in which we grew up with Victoria, “added Beckham.
He said that having children also inspired him to work with children around the world. Beckham traveled a lot to increase awareness about UNICEF work with children. He visited Cambodia to meet children who are victims of violence and harassment, South Africa, to meet families living with HIV and AIDS, and the Philippines, where he met with children affected by Tajfun Haiyan.
“I took a few of my children on various trips. They know exactly what work I do for UNICEF. They all want to get involved in the work of UNICEF, which I do. Everyone wants to help in different ways and to various charity organizations.
“When I come home from these travels, I still show them photos after the pictures, and this just gives them a sense of what really happens in the world, and I think it's very important.”
In his speech at the award ceremony, Beckham also emphasized that “girls stop” poverty, violence and discrimination.
“I want my daughter Harper to have the same possibilities as her brothers, and so it should be with all girls around the world. Being a girl should not determine what you can do, where you can go and who you can become, “he said.
In an interview with Bryer, Beckham touched several topics, including his famous 20-year football career in 1992–2013, he will become the president and co-owner of the Inter Miami CF football club and his thoughts on social media.
