The user, who goes by the handle @No_Yogurt8713, shared a screenshot of the email, which included an unusual greeting: “Dear Idli Chutney No Sambar”.
The email, which informed candidates that their GATE 2025 admit cards were available for download, left many users scratching their heads. In the post, the user expressed confusion, writing, “Is this intentional? How could they make such a mistake? ”

In response to the uproar, IIT Roorkee, the organizing institute for GATE 2025, issued a statement clarifying that the glitch was due to a “technical glitch”. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. “
