“Delta Flight 1398 returned to Boston shortly after getting up after the smoky smell in the cabin,” the statement said. “Our flight crew followed the designated procedures and returned to Boston safely. We sincerely apologize to our customers for delaying their trips.”
The Federal Aviation Department (FAA) also issued a statement on the incident.
“Delta Air Lines Flight 1398 returned to Boston Logan International Airport at around 9:35 am local time on Sunday, March 2,” the government agency said. FAA will research. Contact the airline for more information. ”
