DHL Express Multinational Logistics Company said it would suspend global shipments worth more than $ 800 American consumersIncluding Hong Kong, due to US customs regulatory changes.
DHL, headquartered in Germany, said the cargo suspension begins on Monday. The company said the move is a temporary action.
The decision was made in response to the new US Customs rules that require official processing of all shipments worth more than $ 800. At least $ 2,500 before announcing the change on 5 April.
DHL said trade shipments will continue to trade but could delay. Cargoes worth less than $ 800 for jobs or consumers were not affected by these changes.
