Discord the social platform announced a new function today called the IGNORE. This allows a person to hide any new messages, DMS, notifications about the server, profiles and activities from the selected users without warning them. Opening the update, Discord noted that this type of milder approach to restriction of interaction was requested by its community. This is a less sharp way to turn off a person compared to blocking.
In practice, DMS, obtained from an ignored person, will appear in a mailbox with an icon and a gray name, so they are available if ignoring decides to look at them. The same applies to messages, if someone, who decided to ignore the account, joins the voice or video chat, where this ignored person is present, Discord will show the warning that warn them before they call.
Ignoring can be activated from several places, including the opening menu that appears when clicking on the account of the account. The list of all ignored and blocked accounts is visible on the Content & Social tab. User settings. You can stop ignoring the profile from this full list, from a list of friends or go into a person’s profile. Discord has complete information about the use of the ignoring function in the Help Center article for any additional information.
