It makes up for the fact that it plays a little fast and loose with logistical support. Especially when compared to the plot within the plot in the first half of the episode. For the most part, the song works thanks to Gatwa and Coughlan's stellar performances, and it strikes a bittersweet chord for those going through Christmas without their loved ones. But what if you find yourself with special immunity? Doctor WhoAbuse of the emotional charm of this time of year. You might find the climax of it all a little wanting. And I wonder what the episode would have been like if it had continued to use that initial plot within the plot as the main idea.
But even if you don't find yourself reflecting on the mood of it all. At least there are still a lot of good parts. Doctor Who That's to be found in “Joy to the World,” although it's not the final focus of the episode. There's enough here to satisfy anyone looking for something great.
