Dolly Parton it's less stressful when it comes to enjoying the holidays.
In conversation with The nearest magazine, The “Jolene” singer shared some of her family's holiday traditions. When it comes to holiday drinking, Parton said she and her family don't worry about it.
“We all start eating around Thanksgiving, and we eat until the first of January, and that's when we all go to our meals. You know how that goes?” he told the result, according to me Daily Mail. “So you think, 'Well, I'm not going to think about eating now. I'm going to eat whatever I want.'
Although you're “stretching your clothes” while enjoying all the delicious holiday food, Parton explained that she doesn't mind, because she knows she'll be “ready for a meal after first year.”

The singer went on to say that she continues “on Christmas” with her family, sharing that different generations of children each have their own nicknames, including “Granny Claus, Dolly Claus, or Gigi Claus.”
He says: “I have been doing that since I had my brothers and sisters.” “Now they have kids, and now their kids have kids, so I've just been in it for years. Christmas is a big thing for us.”

Along with dinner, Parton serves wine from her own label, which she says is “fun, because it goes with different things.”

“We have turkey and ham, black-eyed peas and cornbread, and we have a lot of mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and that kind of thing,” he said of the large feast he cooks.
Besides the food, another big part of Parton's Christmas party involves her and her family gathering around the piano and singing classic Christmas carols together, like “O Little Town of Bethlehem” and “Silent Night.”
Earlier this year, Parton expressed his interest in spending Thanksgiving with the royal family, and invited them to. Dollywood for the holidays..
“Oh, I'd love for them to come to Dollywood, that would be great!” he told Near. “The kids could go on in all the cars, and we'd treat them like royalty! I'd give Kate my mashed potatoes – I wouldn't put any airs on them .I would let them enjoy what we enjoy, and I'm sure that's the way they want it.
