A child was hospitalized on Saturday after being hit by a plane he was part of Orlando, Florida drone holiday display.
According to the Orlando Fire Department, a 7-year-old boy was taken to the hospital due to injuries caused by the falling drones, FOX 35 in Orlando reported.
In a video posted online by X user MosquitoCoFl, hundreds of drones that were being used as part of an aerial light show were seen flying in space before several began to fall from the sky before falling to the ground.
A man could be heard saying to the children nearby, “No! I don't believe they have to fall.”

Geese also appear on the water, flapping their wings to try to get out of the way of the chaos.
City officials told the station drone holiday display approved by the FAA.
However, after another drone show went wrong, the city decided to cancel the second one that night at 8pm due to “technical problems.”

The FAA told Fox News Digital that it will investigate the cause of the drone's display malfunction.
“Several small drones collided and crashed into a crowd during a holiday parade above Lake (Eola) in Orlando, Florida,” the FAA said. “The incident occurred at approximately 6:45 pm local time on Saturday, December 21.”
According to the agency, drone arrays and light displays are subject to FAA regulations and usually require a waiver of the rule that prohibits operating more than one drone at a time.
For each drone show application, the FAA looks at things like software that controls dronesways to create safe and restricted areas to keep people away from the display, procedures in case the drones fail, and procedures when the aircraft approaches the display.

In addition, the FAA is evaluating how well the operator will keep drones within a restricted area using Geofencing, and whether the operator has enough people to run the program.
For the second year, the City of Orlando has used Sky Elements Drones as its drone vendor, the station reported.
Sky Elements Drones did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment on the matter.
In a statement to Fox 35, the seller said, “Sky Elements Drones wants to extend our sincere hope for a full and speedy recovery to those affected by the Lake Eola show in Orlando on Saturday, December 21st.
