On Tuesday, Jim Cramer, Mad Money's host, offered his perspective on the day's market rally as he investigated the impact of the ongoing dynamics between President Donald Trump and the chairman of the Federal Fund Jerome Powell.
“All day, I heard that today's Rally Rally was a bear market rally, right? It is a phony Bigyn, and the market will go back down the moment the President will post that there will be no compromise on tariffs. Who knows, maybe the main Jay Powell should be deported.”

However, Cramer noted that the tone had moved significantly after the market closed. In his words, “We are getting amazing news that is sure to drive this market higher.” The news came directly from the President, who explained that he had no intention of firing Powell, Si and Cramer noted as a major factor in the slide of the previous market. Trump's statement, “never,” about any plans to remove Powell removed an uncertainty cloud that had been hanging over the markets.
Given this reversal, Cramer questioned whether the rally could still be called a bear market bounce. In his view, he now looked like more substantial. He explained that real restorations are often misappropriated at the beginning. According to Cramer, they usually start with what seems like bear market rallies, a short -lived, suspicious increase that many investors push away because of repeated disappointments in the past. He emphasized that the early stages of turning a valid market are often identified by disbelief and hesitation, with only the most bold or most bold traders recognizing their early potential. Added:
“Now look, just because the President doesn't want a constitutional crisis and goes to keep Powell Powell does not mean we have more to go ahead. For example, there has been no sign of a change from the administration on the trade wars.”
