Elon Musk labeling Trump Navarro's advisor “deated” over Tesla's comment

Elon Musk called President Donald Trump's sales adviser, Peter Navarro, Debil because of the comments he made for his Tesla electric vehicle.

Musk – who is also a member of the Trump Administration – also said that Navarro was “drunk than a sack of bricks” in publications in his social media platform X.

It was in response to an interview that Navarro gave, in which he described Tesla as a “car assembler” and not as a manufacturer because of the use of foreign parts.

Navarro was interviewed for Trump's tariff policy and said he wanted to see such parts made in the US in the future.

Musk said the allegations were “demonstratively false.”

The BBC asked the White House for comment.

Trump is partly justified by his global wave of tariffs, saying he wants to revive production in the United States.

This is an argument that Navarro expands during the advent of CNBC on Monday.

“If you look at our automotive industry, right, we are in a German -mounted line for German engines and transmissions at the moment,” he said.

“We will get to a place where America is doing things again, real salaries will increase, profits will rise.”

In response to the comments on Tuesday, Musk posted a link to an article from 2023 by the Kelley Blue Book Car Evaluation Company, which cited the findings of Car.com that Tesla vehicles have the most parts manufactured in the US.

“By any definition, Tesla is the most vertically integrated car manufacturer in America with the highest percentage of US content,” Musk wrote in a subsequent postS

The technology industry analyst Dan Ives said on Sunday that the company was less exposed to tariffs than other car manufacturers in the United States such as GM, Ford and Stellantis.

But he also claims that the company has gained the bigger part of its parts outside the United States, emphasizing China.

“Tariffs in their current form will disturb Tesla, the common supply chain and its global imprint, which has been a clear advantage over the years over growing competitors like BYD,” he said.

Trump's tariffs have caused the fall of the stock market around the world, as investors estimate that it will cause companies to make less profits.

Musk – which is a leading dog that is charged with reducing federal costs – warned in X post on March 27 that even his company will not be immunized by a breakdown of tariffsS

Another supporter of Trump, the billionaire fund manager, Bill Akman, has called for a pause of tariffs to give up what he called “major global economic disturbances.”

In an X publication, he said current plans would cause “unnecessary harm”.

Navarro is considered an ultra-thrump loyalist after being closed to ignore the summons By the Chamber Committee investigating alleged efforts to cancel the 2020 election.

It is also considered one of the main architects of Trump's tariff policy.
