X is raising prices for its flagship subscription service by 37.5%, the biggest price increase since Elon Musk bought the platform in 2022.

X says it is “adjusting” prices to support the experience it offers. Existing subscribers will be converted to current rates until January 20th.
International markets are facing similar increases, with European Union prices rising by €16 to €21 each month. Canada will see Premium+ rates climb from $20 to $29.
Some markets are more affected than most. X Premium+, which completely removes ads among other features, will cost users in Nigeria from ₦34,000 to ₦7,300 monthly. Similarly, users in Turkey currently pay ₺770 for Top X service, up from ₺300.
The platform's basic subscription remains unchanged at $3 monthly.
