Everything NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced at his CES 2025 keynote

NVIDIA held CES 2025 Keynote last night with CEO Jensen Huang and it was surprisingly intense. The company has finally unveiled its long-awaited GeForce RTX 5000 GPUs, which promise significant performance gains. The company didn't stop there, announcing Project Digits, a personal supercomputer with artificial intelligence, as well as DLSS 4 and much more. Here's a quick recap of what happened, and you can watch the entire event uncut via the YouTube embed below. (Spoiler alert: running time is over 90 minutes.)

Juan came out in a new leather jacket reminiscent of snakeskin, and showed off the long-awaited RTX 5090 GPU. Featuring 32GB of GDDR7 RAM and an impressive 21,760 CUDA cores, the new flagship can deliver twice the relative performance, especially in ray tracing (RT) intensive games like Cyberpunk 2077. In fact, this particular game ran at 234 frames per hour. second at full performance. RT is included in the demo video, compared to 109fps on the RTX 4090. It's not cheap, however, at $1,999.

The company also introduced the $549 RTX 5070 with a much more modest 6,144 CUDA cores and 12GB of DDR7 RAM, as well as the $749 RTX 5070 Ti and $999 RTX 5080.

A key part of the launch of the RTX 5000 series was implementation of DLSS 4The latest version of real-time image scaling technology. It features a new technology called Multi Frame Generation, which allows new GPUs to generate up to three additional frames for every frame the GPU produces through traditional rendering, helping to increase frame rates by up to eight times. It also represents what NVIDIA calls “the biggest update to its AI models” since DLSS 2, improving things like temporal stability and detail while reducing artifacts like ghosting.

Finally, NVIDIA launched Project figures“a personal AI supercomputer” designed for artificial intelligence researchers, data scientists and students. It uses the new NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell super chip, delivering up to petaflop performance when testing and running AI models. The company says a single Project Digits machine can run 200 billion parameter models, or multiple machines can be linked together to run 405 billion parameter models. And for its target audience, Project Digits is relatively cheap at $3,000.

On top of that, the company introduced NVIDIA Cosmos global reference models for robotics and AV development. NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion AV platform for autonomous vehicles and the AI Foundation's RTX PC models “that energize digital humans.” All this is explained in the video above and in the NVIDIA instructions. CES – and Huang's keynote – come amid continued volatility in the company's stock prices. Shares of NVIDIA (ticker: NVDA) jumped ahead of Huang's speech and closed Monday just shy of Apple's peak market capitalization. But on Tuesday there was a reversal: stocks fell more than 6 percent. However, some are betting that the jury is still out between the two tech giants as to which one will go to market. Market valuation at $4 trillion. first.
