Days after the incident, FAA, directed by their Minister of Transport Duffy, restricted helicopter traffic in the area of the Potomak River around Washington National Airport and extended to Paul Wilson.

Duffy said in a statement earlier this month that he was particularly planning to investigate the operation in the air traffic control tower.
