Dr. Anthony Fauci joined Georgetown University's faculty last year as a “distinguished university professor” but has yet to teach a single course, a new report says.
Georgetown announced in the summer of 2023 that Dr. Fauci, the former Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, will serve as a “University Professor Distinguished Professor in the School of Medicine's Department of Infectious Diseases,” along with an appointment at the University School of McCourt of Public Policy.
Georgetown is calling the role awarded Fauci “the most important honor” reserved for faculty members “whose outstanding achievements in teaching, learning and service have earned them the highest recognition in the Academy.”
However, like College Fix reported on Friday, Fauci appears to have not taught any courses since his election.

Fox News Digital censored list of courses found on the Georgetown website going back to the Summer 2023 semester and has not had a course listed with Fauci as an instructor since then.
The private Jesuit college said Fauci will “contribute to clinical and graduate education and student engagement,” in its first announcement.
Since his appointment, Fauci has “delivered lectures, seminars and fireside discussions for undergraduates and graduate students and others from the School of Medicine, School of Health, School of Public Policy, Law School and School of Walsh Foreign Service,” rather than teaching, according to an August interview with The Georgetowner. He also “lit up for one-on-one meetings.”
Fauci also joined the O'Neill Center for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown as a “Senior Distinguished Scholar” in April 2024.

Georgetown said Fauci will advance “the right to health” and provide “critical insights into identifying and responding to urgent national and global health challenges” in this additional capacity. .
As the public face of the federal government's pandemic response, Fauci has come under scrutiny for his handling of the pandemic. He faced fresh criticism this month after the release of a report outlining the findings of a two-year conference on the epidemic.
A congressional subcommittee report found that the virus usually born out of the laboratory Wuhan, China, and that social distancing and masking were not supported by scientific data.
Report He said Fauci “played an important role in discrediting the lab-leak theory among the top scientific circles in the early 2020s and later in the public. His congressional testimony to Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., reports it says, it misled the public about National Institutes of Health funding for research into the discovery of activity in coronavirus labs.
Politico reported earlier this month that President Biden is thinking about the first apologies for Fauci and other political figures before President Trump returns to the White House in January.
Georgetown did not respond Fox News Digital's questions about Fauci's professorship role or salary.
