Fox Sports previously streamed its Super Bowl broadcasts on its Fox Sports app, but for this year's Big Game it's bringing coverage to its free ad-supported streaming service Tubi. On the broadcaster announced on Wednesday that the NFL's biggest game will be available on the streamer, with pregame coverage starting at 3:30 PM ET on February 9 with the Tubi Red Carpet at Super Bowl LIX.
The NFL rotates Super Bowl broadcasts every year, and CBS aired it last year. Fox had the NFL title game in 2023 and has it again this year, while NBC and Peacock will have it in 2026 and ESPN and ABC will air it in 2027.
The confirmation that Fox will make this year's game available in 4K is welcome but not unexpected, having previously broadcast the Super Bowl in 4K in both 2020 and 2023. For 2023 make the option available on compatible cable, satellite and streaming providers, including DirecTV, Dish, Verizon, Optimum, Comcast, Fubo and YouTube TV, as well as those streaming the Super Bowl through its Fox Sports app.
In addition to being broadcast on Fox and streaming on Tubi, this year's Super Bowl will also be available on Fox Deportes, Telemundo and “across NFL digital properties” without requiring users to confirm they are paying for a cable, satellite or live TV service . According to Diversity.
