It has been 10 years since the Islamist attack on satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo in France shocked the country and sparked a fierce debate about freedom of expression and religion. France 24's Sharon Gaffney spoke with Vanderbilt University research professor and founder of The Future of Free Speech think tank Jacob Macangama. He says terrorism has reduced freedom of expression, and says France's “schizophrenic” approach helps destroy a culture of freedom.
