Gamestop Corp. He wants to sell his Canadian and French operations when he evaluates his international resources, said the seller of video games on Tuesday.

Gamestop did not provide further details about the decision, nor did he immediately answer the request to comment on sales and post by Cohen.

At the beginning of 2024, Gamestop had 203 locations in Canada. Cohen became the company's general director in 2023. At that time, he was the chairman of the management board and the largest individual investor of the company.

At the annual meeting of the company's shareholders in June last year, Cohen said that Gamestop would focus on reduction of costs and long -term profitability that would include a smaller chain of stores.

The company earned USD 17.4 million in the third quarter, compared to the loss in the same quarter a year earlier. Its sales dropped to USD 860.3 million.
