Halloween has created eyewear we didn't know we needed: smart glasses that project images directly onto your eye.
Published at CES 2025at the CES Unveiled event, Halliday showed off his AI smart glasses that beam images directly into your field of vision – beaming them into your eye instead of a lens – without needing a lens to do so.
Blending fashion with functionality, these are the first AI glasses to feature a dedicated proactive AI agent and the
DigiWindow technology, a first-of-its-kind near-invisible near-eye display that transmits information directly within the user's field of vision without lenses. The glasses still have lenses that can carry your prescription, but this is different because there is nothing visible on the lens itself.
Inspired by the visionary character James Halliday from Steven Spielberg's (and Ernest Cline's) Ready Player One, these iconic frames are as versatile as they are stylish, accommodating any – or any – prescription lens. at all Available in matte black or tortoiseshell, they exude timeless luxury. (Halliday is not related to Spielberg or Cline).
This discreetly delivers AI-enhanced information and insights directly to the user's eyes, setting a new standard for what wearable technology can achieve. The glasses use a minimal optical model projection technology called DigiWindow to project images onto the glass in front of your eyes. The eyes can also be prescription glasses.
Invisible, unknowable superpowers

It's invisible to anyone you're talking to (except at night when you see a green light), but the device doesn't have a camera so it doesn't have the same privacy issue as other smart glasses registration devices.
The device is equipped with a microphone attached to the eyes, allowing the user to interact with the proactive AI agent. As with voice support such as Siri or Alexa, the user must manually launch the Halliday AI application to start listening to conversations but the audio is not permanently recorded.
Halliday may look like an ordinary pair of nostalgic, retro glasses, but looks can be deceiving. Developed by Ph.D. Stanford engineers with deep expertise in advanced optics, Halliday's DigiWindow is the world's smallest and lightest near-eye display model, making invisible displays a reality.
Installed on the upper right part of the frame, the DigiWindow quickly projects information within the user's natural field of vision, whether they have perfect eyesight or do they need vision correction. Seen as a 3.5-inch screen in the upper right corner of the user's view, DigiWindow delivers essential information without obstructing the user's main field of view or being need a lens.
Unlike traditional smart glasses that use waveguide lenses – which often suffer from issues such as rainbow patterns and front light leakage – Halliday adopts a unique technology approach that provides a better display quality better not to encounter common issues. Additionally, Halliday glasses work in outdoor visibility; with exceptional light efficiency, the display remains clear even under the brightest light, providing a consistent viewing experience across all conditions.
Invisible to observers, Halliday said it gives users hidden power to deal with life's challenges. Designed for ultimate choice, it is primarily controlled through a slim trackpad ring, with additional interaction options available through voice commands and a built-in frame interface. This combination of style and advanced engineering empowers consumers to be smarter, more capable, and always one step ahead, said Halliday.
Proactive AI: Support before you ask

Halliday redefines what an AI agent can do – it doesn't just respond to commands; he anticipates customer needs and offers proactive assistance. While traditional reactive AI assistants are limited to basic tasks such as setting alarms or identifying objects, Halliday's proactive AI agent does more. It quickly analyzes conversations, answers direct questions, and offers additional insight – all without waiting for a call.
The proactive AI agent actively listens, understands, and processes the ongoing context of conversations and actions, enabling it to intuitively identify opportunities to add value. For example, in a meeting, it can proactively answer complex questions, summarize key discussion points, and generate summaries of meeting notes afterwards. Always one step ahead, it predicts the next logical move before you even ask, ensuring a smooth and highly efficient experience.
In the blink of an eye, Halliday transforms everyday moments with powerful information.
