Hamas has officially rejected Israel's most proposal, saying that he was ready to negotiate an deal immediately to see the release of all other hostages in exchange for the termination of the war and the release of Palestinian prisoners.
In a video statement, Hamas Halil Al-Haya's chief negotiator said: “We will not accept partial deals that serve (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu's political program.”
Fifty -nine hostages remain captured and 24 are thought to be alive. Israel's last offer included a 45-day termination of fire in exchange for the exit of 10 hostages.
The distant Israeli finance minister, the troubled Smotrich, said it was time to “open Hamas's gates”.
Hamas officials had already indicated the BBC early in the week that they would reject the plan.
“Netanyahu and his government use partial agreements as a coverage for their political program, which is based on the continuation of the war for extermination and hunger, even if the price sacrifices all its prisoners (hostages),” Haya said.
He added that the group was “ready to immediately negotiate a deal to exchange all hostages with an agreed number of Palestinians closed by Israel” and end the war.
Earlier, Hamas said he would consider a comprehensive deal to end the war, but the two sides were not close to any type of agreement that would lead to it.

Witnesses to Al Mavasi said dozens of Palestinians, including children, were killed after the tents were subjected to a “powerful” explosion.
“I rushed out and saw the tent next to mine, swallowed in flames,” a man told the BBC Gaza Lifeline program.
The Israeli military did not comment immediately, but said they were looking at reports of strikes.
Previously, Israel told the Palestinians to be evacuated from other parts of gas to Al Mavasi.
