Mark Zuckerberg announced Meta staff today to introduce them to the new Superintelense group. The memorandum, with wired, listed the names and BIOS for recent employees, many people from competitors such as Openai, Anthropic and Google.
Over the past few months, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been recruited crazy to poke some of the most searched talents in AI. The social media giant invested $ 14.3 billion and hired Alexandr Wang, its CEO, to Run the Meta's super library laboratory (MSL). News about the memorandum is Bloomberg's first report.
We will call our overall organization Meta Superintelect Labs (MSL). This includes all of our fair platforms, products and groups, as well as a new laboratory focusing on the development of the next generation of our models, Mr. Zuckerberg wrote in the memorandum on Monday. Meta declined to comment.
Zuckerberg introduced Wang, who will be the executive director of the AI company and the leader of MSL, as well as former CEO of Github Nat Friedman. Friedman will combine a new laboratory with Wang, focusing on AI products and applied research.
This is a list of all new employees as seen in the memorandum of Zuckerberg. It is noteworthy not to include employees from the Zurich office of Openai.

- Shuchao Bi: The creative co-creation of the speech mode GPT-4O and O4-mini. Previously led multimodal methods after training at Openal.
- Huiwen Chang: Innovative creative image of GPT-4O and previously invented architectural architecture of Maskit and Muse texts at Google Research.
- Ji Lin: Help build 03/O4-mini, GPT-4O, GPT-4,1, GPT-4.5, 40 images and theoretical stacks of the operator.
- Joel Pobar: Inferred at Anthropic. Previously at Meta for 11 years on HHVM, Hack, Flow, Redex, Tooling Tool and Machine Learning.
- Jack Rae: Technology leader is trained first for Gemini and theory for Gemini 2.5. Led Gopher and Chinchilla soon worked at Deepmind.
- Hongyu Ren: The creative co-creative of GPT-4O, 4O-mini, O1-mini, O3-mini, 03 and O4-mini. Previously leading a group to train after opening.
- Johan Schalkwyk: Former colleagues of Google, who contributed early to Sesame and technical team leader for Maya.
- Pei Sun: Training, encryption and reasoning for Gemini at Google Deepmind. Previously created the last two generations of Waymo's cognitive models.
- Jiahui Yu: The creator of 03, 04-mini, GPT-4.1 and GPT-40. Previously led the awareness group at Openal, and co -leadership of multimodal methods in Gemini.
- Shengjia Zhao: Tatgpt's creation, GPT-4, all mini, 4.1 and 03 models.
