House Republicans reached an agreement to partially avert a government shutdown late Friday, sources told Fox News Digital.
Two people familiar with the negotiations told Fox News Digital that the deal would include a short-term extension of this year's fiscal conditions, disaster funding and agricultural support for farmers. – but under three separate bills.
It will also include an agreement to take action on the debt limit next year as part of a major planned overhaul of Republican policy in a process called reconciliation.
The new policy comes after President Trump and his allies scrapped initial plans by Congressional lawmakers to block a temporary shutdown before the holidays.
