Lucky Siddiqui, a Delhi-based graphic designer, has gained widespread attention on social media after sharing his ordeal of not receiving his salary for four consecutive months. His LinkedIn post, which has since gone viral, highlights the struggles many employees face when dealing with payment issues.

Siddiqui, who works at VMS Pvt Ltd, expressed his frustration and sought advice from the online community. “I don't usually post about personal challenges, but I feel like this needs to be addressed and I could use some advice,” he said in his post.

Despite fulfilling all his work responsibilities, Siddiqui reported that his efforts to resolve the payment issue through internal channels were met with silence. “I was working as a graphic designer with VMS Pvt Ltd, expectations were met, but I didn't get my salary in four months. I tried several times to resolve this internally, but unfortunately, the issue remained unresolved,” he explained. .

“As professionals, we depend on timely payments to sustain ourselves and our families. It is sad to face such a situation, especially after devoting so much effort to a company,” he said, stressing the importance of timely payments.

In his post, Siddiqui included screenshots of a conversation he had with a supervisor, in which he claims he was told not to speak or risk being blocked. He ended his message by pleading for guidance on what legal or professional steps he could take to resolve the issue, hoping to prevent others from experiencing the same predicament.

The post has generated considerable response, with many users offering advice and sharing their own experiences. One commenter highlighted applicable labor laws, noting that employers may face penalties and legal consequences if they fail to pay wages on time.
