Every state has its own strange laws, and the Century State is no exception.
As Colorado is famous winter resortit's no surprise that there are strange laws surrounding snowy weather.

1. Not using outdoor furniture
In Boulder, avoid storing furniture outside. It is against the law.
According to Boulder General Offenses under Title 5, Chapter 4, 5-4-16, individuals may not store “furniture not intended for outdoor use,” on the front, side or back.
Furniture under the law includes beds, chairs and mattresses.

If the property is left outside while the resident is moving or on garbage day when it is to be picked up, this is not a crime.
Additionally, outdoor furniture for sale is fine.
2. Don't plan to buy a car on Sunday
If you planning to buy a car on Sunday, you're out of luck in Colorado.
In the state, “no person, firm, or corporation, whether owner, landlord, agent, or employee, shall keep open, operate, or assist in keeping open or operating any premises and any building or dwelling, whether open or closed, for the purpose of selling, bartering, or bartering or offering to sell, barter, or barter any vehicle, whether new, used, or used, on the first day of the week commonly called Sunday,” according to Colorado. Amendment of Law § 12-6-302.
Even if you can't shop for a car on Sunday, you can buy auto parts or get your car repaired on the day because those businesses are allowed to stay open.

SPECIFIC RULES IN MASSACHUSETTS INCLUDE A $20 FEE, WHICH MAY INCLUDE THE TIME TO RAISE THE PIGEON.
3. Keep weeds under control
In Colorado, especially Pueblo, residents must keep their weeds under control.
This includes dandelions, which people tend to magically peel and make a wish that they hope will come true.
“It shall be unlawful for the owner of any land to permit any weed exceeding ten (10) inches in height to grow, lie in wait or be placed upon such land. It shall be it shall be unlawful for the owner of the land to cut, destroy or remove from such land all weeds exceeding ten (10) inches in height,” pursuant to Section 7-4-2 of the Laws of Pueblo Colorado.
Many other weeds fall under this rule, including Canada grass, Russian grass, redroot pigweed, common ragweed and others.

“This list is not intended to be exclusive, but is intended to show the types of plants that are considered dangerous and dangerous to the health and safety of the public, but will not include flower gardens, shrubbery , vegetable gardens and small grains (wheat, barley, oats and rye),” says the law.
4. No starting snowballs
Aspen, be careful before you let that snowball you made fly.

“It shall be an offense for any person to throw any stone, snowball or other missile or to discharge a bow, gun, slingshot, gun, stone or other device at any vehicle or any public or private building or property or on any person or in any public way or in any known natural place,” according to the law.
