At least 32 Palestinians have been killed and hundreds more injured in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since early Tuesday, the enclave's health officials said, despite ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas. seems to be increasing.

Public security spokesman Mahmoud Basal said the attacks affected the cities of Deir el-Balah, Gaza City and Khan Younis.

Ten people, including a one-year-old girl, were killed when the home of the Abed family in the al-Manara neighborhood of Khan Younis was hit by an Israeli attack, Basal said.

The child's parents, grandfather and uncle were also killed in the attack, he said.

In another attack, four children were killed when the home of the Abu al-Shaar family in Daraj neighborhood of Gaza City was hit, Basal said.

Another attack hit a tent full of Palestinian refugees, killing three people in Deir el-Balah, he added.

Witnesses said an Apache helicopter fired at the Jabalia area in northern Gaza, where Israeli forces have been waging violence since October.

The latest attacks came as peace talks and a deal to free the hostages are underway in Qatar.
