An international airport and a power plant in Yemen were among the targets of a series of airstrikes carried out by Israel on Thursday.
Three people were killed and more than a dozen wounded in the strikes, according to Houthi-run media.
Footage from the airport in the capital Sanaa showed chaos inside the terminal as passengers fled while an air traffic control tower was damaged.
While in the port city of Hodeida, a power plant was struck, causing a large fire.
The Iran-backed Houthi rebel group described the attacks as “barbaric”.
In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said its “fighter jets carried out intelligence-based strikes against military targets belonging to the Houthi terrorist regime along the west coast and in the interior of Yemen.”
