Hundreds of protesters marched on Saturday on the central streets of Venice to say no “billionaire Jeff Bezos, his bride and their very anticipated wedding extravagance, which reached the third and last day among the receptions of celebrities and the resolution of tired residents.
On Friday, the fourth man and Lauren Sanchez in the world tied the node during a private ceremony with about 200 stars on the secluded island of San Giorgio Maggiore.
However, many venets were angry with the wedding, and some activists protested against it as the exploitation of the city by the billionaire of Bezos, while ordinary residents suffer from excessive tourism, high housing costs and a constant threat of flooding caused by the climate.
When the two newlyweds prepared for the last party on Saturday evening, hundreds of venets and protesters from all over Italy filled the small streets of Venice with colorful banners reading: “kisses yes, without Bezos not” and “without Bezos, without war.”
The demonstration contrasted with the wedding Bonanza, perceived by critics as an Afront in the fragile environment of Lagoon City and his citizens, overwhelmed by crowds of tourists.

“We are here to continue to ruin the plans of these rich people who collect money using many other people – while the conditions of this city remain uncertain,” said Martina Vergnano, one of the demonstrators.
The organizers of the protests won after the Saturday wedding party, which was initially to take place in Central Venice, but which, they claimed, were later transferred to the former medieval shipyard, Arsenal.
According to Corili, Venetian Environmental Research Association, Bezos transferred one million euros ($ 1.6 million CDN) to three research on the environment working on the behavior of Venice.
But many protesters blew up this movement as a clear attempt to calm furious residents.

“We want a free Venice, which is ultimately dedicated to its citizens. These donations are only misery and aimed only at cleansing the conscience of the Bezos,” said Flavio Cogo, a Venetian activist who joined the Saturday protest.
The details of the exclusive wedding ceremony on Friday evening were a strictly guarded mystery, as long as the new bride, now Sanchez Bezos, published a photo on Instagram, which is radiated by a white dress when she stood next to the Bezos dressed in a smoking.
Athletes, celebrities, influential people and business leaders approached to enjoy the extravagance, which was the same testimony of the love of couple as well as their extraordinary wealth.
Celebrities from the A list, including Oprah Winfrey, Mick Jagger and Leonardo DiCaprio, are in Venice for the wedding of the billionaire Amazon Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez. The mass event also attracted protesters, bad because of the inequalities of income, which, as they say, Bezos is an example.
The star guest list included Oprah Winfrey and NFL Great Tom Brady, as well as Hollywood Stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Orlando Bloom, technology entrepreneur and philanthropist Bill Gates and the best social social, including Kardashian-Jenner clan.
Ivanka Trump, her husband, Jared Kushner and their three children, also joined the ceremony.
The bride and groom stopped at the Aman Venice hotel on the Grand Canal, where Bezos posed for photos, and Sanchez Bezos blew up the kisses to the press.
“The planet is burning, but don't worry, here is a list of 27 dresses Lauren Sanchez”, read one protest slogan, reference to the wedding wardrobe to the brides. He contained the crazy wedding mermaid Dolce & Gabbana and other inspired dolce vita appearance of Italian designers, including Schiaparelli and Bottega Veneta.
The city administration strongly defended weddings, according to the tradition of Venice as an open city, which will be welcomed by popes, emperors and ordinary guests for centuries.
