Maha Kumbhamela 2025: Adani, Geeta Press join hands to distribute 1 crore copies of Aarti Sangha to devotees


The Adani Group has collaborated with Gita Press to distribute one crore copies of 'Aarti Sangra' among devotees for free at this year's Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj.

The book, a collection of devotional songs or Aati, has been published by Gita Press, and the initiative will be part of Sanatana Sahitya Seva.

Representatives of Gita Press, an organization dedicated to the objective of preserving, promoting and propagating Indian culture, met Gautam Adani, Chairman, Adani Group, on January 10 in Ahmedabad.

“Maha Kumbha is the great Yaga of Indian culture and religious belief. It is our great pleasure to offer one crore copies of 'Aarti Sangraha' free of cost to the devotees coming to Kumbha in this Mahayaga along with the renowned Geeta Press. Today I had the privilege of expressing my gratitude for the excellent service of Gita Press, inspired by the honorable officers of Gita Press who have been serving the nation for 100 years through Sanatana Sahitya. Selfless service and sense of responsibility towards religion and culture is a form of patriotism to which we are all committed. Seva is meditation, seva is prayer and seva is God,” Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

On behalf of Gita Press, General Secretary Neelratan Chandgothia, Trustee Devi Dayal Agarwal, Board of Trustees member Ram Narayan Chandak, Manager Lal Mani Tiwari and Acharya Sanjay Tiwari met Adani.

“It is a pleasure to join this cultural and spiritual journey by taking a pledge to serve the Sanatana Atman, Shri Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group. With long-term cooperation, coordination and trust, Geeta Press believes that this initiative will help propagate and spread Sanatana Dharma and build a Vishwaguru Bharat,” said a Geeta Press representative.

The Adani Group also joined hands with the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) to cater to devotees at this year's Great Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. Mahaprasad service is offered for the entire duration of the Maha Kumbh Mela from January 13 to February 26.
