The US Senator met with a person who Trump's administration officials have admitted to being deported by mistake by Maryland at a mega-prisoner in El Salvador.

Maryland Senator Chris Van Holen has published photos of his meeting with Kilmar Abgo Garcia, whom the administration refused to return to the United States, despite the federal judge's order.

After the meeting, El Salvador President Naib Boukele also refused to release the abrego Garcia and said he would remain in custody of the country.

The White House has accused Mr. Abrego Garcia of being a member of the transnational band Salvadoran MS-13, a certain foreign terrorist organization that his lawyer denies.

The meeting comes against the backdrop of the escalating display between the president and the immigration courts a day after a judge in another case stated that the administration could be held through disrespect for court over deportation flights.

“I said my main goal of this trip was to meet Kilmar. I had this chance tonight,” the democratic senator on social media published.

“I called his wife Jennifer to go through his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update on his return.”

The White House attacked the visit and called it “disgusting.”

“Chris van Holen has firmly established the Democrats as a party whose main priority is the welfare of the illegal extraterrestrial terrorist MS-13,” said White House spokesman Kush Deza.

“This is really disgusting. President Trump will continue to stand on the side of the Americans observing the law.”

Prior to the meeting, the Senator said he had been stopped earlier in the day by armed guards on the way to Secot, prison with maximum security where Mr. Abrego Garcia was detained.

Van Holen arrived in the country on Wednesday, hoping to ensure the release of the abrego Garcia, who was a resident of his country.

The Senator did not propose an update to the status of G -N Abrego Garcia in publications on his social media, but he said more information would be published when he returned to the United States.

The wife of G -n Abo Garcia celebrated the news and said “the prayers have answered.”

“The efforts of my family and community in the struggle for justice are heard because now I know my husband is alive,” said Jennifer Vasquez Surah. “God listens, and the community is strong.”

She said her family still has many questions and will continue to fight for his release.

During his trip Saint van Holen said he also met with Vice President of the country And they wanted to open the doors so that the abrego Garcia could leave prison, a request that he said was rejected.

At X, President of El Salvador reposted the photos at the Senator's meeting, G -N Abrego Garcia, and seems to be ridiculed for the concern of the prisoner's well -being.

President Becle commented that the Abango Garcia was “miraculously erected from the” Camps of Death “and” Torture “in the” tropical paradise of El Salvador “.

“Now that he is confirmed healthy, he is honored to remain in the arrest of El Salvador,” the president added.

The abrego Garcia lived in Maryland before being deported on March 15 with dozens of Salvadoran and Venezuelans at the Cecot Restriction Center in El Salvador.

Maryland Paula Judge Sinis has decided that the removal of G -N Abrego Garcia from the country has violated the 2019 court order, which has provided him with legal protection against deportation.

Last week, the US Supreme Court partially upheld the court's ruling, finding that the Trump administration should “facilitate” the release of the abrego Garcia.

The administration was ordered to give daily updates for these efforts.

The Trump administration staff have admitted that deportation is an “administrative mistake”, although the White House insists that there is no mistake.

The Republican president's allies claim that deportation is doing good in his promise of a campaign to keep Americans safe.

They have indicated a restrictive order filed by the wife of G -H -N -Arego Garcia on May 5, 2021, in which she claims four cases of domestic violence against her.

D -Ja Vasquez Surah told Newsweek on Wednesday that she and her husband worked through their difficulties, including through consultation.

The White House press release Carolyn Levitt told reporters at a briefing on Wednesday: “He (G -H -Abo Garcia) will never live in the United States of America.”

She was joined by a woman's mother in Maryland, Rachel Morin, who was killed in August 2023 by an alleged fugitive from El Salvador, a separate case.
