McDonald's wildly popular Pokemon Happy Meals are back.
US restaurants The fast-food giant said it began selling limited-time themed Happy Meals on Tuesday and will continue to offer them while supplies last.
“There's nothing more exciting than being able to bring our fans campaigns with our partners,” said Guillaume Huynh, McDonald's chief marketing officer, in a statement. Like they do for McDonald's, our fans have a deep sense of nostalgia and love for the Pokémon brand.
According to McDonald's, those who order Happy Meals “will have the opportunity to discover a variety of Pokémon, including fan favorites.”

This will be possible thanks to a four-card “booster” pack of the Pokemon card game that comes with Happy Meals along with posters and stickers.

Through a partnership with Pokemon Company International, the fast food giant said there will be 15 different Pokemon trading cards, each featuring a different Pokemon, that Happy Meal shoppers can get.

McDonald's customers can also expect Pokemon to appear on their Happy Meal boxes. Three versions of the boxes feature one Pokemon – Charizard, Rayquaza or Roaring Moon – while another version features Pikachu and Dragonite. McDonald said.

The fast food giant has paired up happy meals with pokemon cards several times in the past. For example, in 2021, the companies offered packs of Pokémon trading cards in Happy Meals with Pikachu on the boxes to mark Pokémon's 25th anniversary. Fox News Digital reported.
