This weekend, Japanese viewers will be able to watch a hot new show. Mobile Suit Gundam set, GQuuuuuX,in the movie theater. Luckily, viewers in North America still have a chance to see the upcoming anime on the big screen as well—we'll have to wait a bit before we can watch it.
On Friday, the film's distributor Gkids revealed that it has acquired the theatrical rights for Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- The film will be shown here on February 28th and will continue showing… which is not clear at this time. And it's unclear if the screenings will have only Japanese audio (such as when push da push Released in theaters last year) or include an English dub. Even bigger franchises are no strangers to movies and compilations. But this is the first story. Gundam Show since Reconquista in G The first three episodes have been released in theaters. and was the first show during the franchise to reach North American locations.

GQuuuuuX It comes with a lot of creative talent behind it. Neon Genesis Evangelion alumni Kazuya Tsurumaki and Yoji Enokido, as well as franchise creator Hideaki Anno. In a statement, Gkids president David Jesteadt emphasized the mecha series' creative pedigree, saying, “The outrageous blend of artistic talent that Collaborate on a series with stories like this. Mobile Suit Gundam is to view appointments We are proud to play a part in bringing this exciting new project to audiences the cinematic experience this film truly deserves.”
While we wait. Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuXs With the February 28th theatrical cut (and actual shows coming to theaters this year), it probably wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on Universal Century's ongoing show, as it looks like it might be important. One way or another, Mubi just followed. Post-War Gundam– And it seems pretty good on its own.
