Moment Glacier collapsed to Alps and in the village


The Swiss village of Blatten was partially destroyed after a huge piece of glacier crashed into the valley, flooding plains and destroying houses.

The drone shots showed much of the birch glacier, which collapsed around 3:30 pm (14:30 BST) on Wednesday.

The mud avalanche that transferred the village of Blade, creating a huge cloud of dust.

Although the village was evacuated a few days ago due to fears that the birch glacier is falling apart, one person has been reported to have disappeared and many homes are completely flattened.
