Mozambique inaugurated: New president vows 'unity' amid protests




In Mozambique, new President Daniel Chapo was sworn in in the capital, Maputo. In his first presidential speech, he promised to promote unity in a country wracked by post-election violence. Venancio Mondlane, the candidate who came second in the October election, continued to contest the results and called for a national strike in protest. At least seven people have died in the protests.
