A Bengaluru customer who placed an order with Blinkit while in a hospital praised the quick delivery service for prioritizing his order, even without a specific request for an emergency.
Sanjeet Sahoo, a Product Manager at Groww, shared his heartfelt experience at X, appreciating Blinkit's thoughtful service. “My heart goes out to whoever thought to optimize for this, thanks Blinkit,” he wrote. Saho also posted a screenshot of his order, which included a notification on the app, “We have prioritized your order! We noticed your order is from a hospital. Sending our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones.”
This act of kindness resonated with many and was widely applauded.
Dr. Bhumika Agarwal (@imahappysoul12) shared a similar encounter at X: “(It's) definitely a new move. I ordered some stuff today from the hospital via Blinkit and called the delivery guy and asked him to deliver to our room. I told him no parking. Doubtful if such reasons would be offered, but he delivered it to our room thanks to your empathy.
