Pittsburgh Steelers Wide receiver George Pickens was picked by NFL legend Terrell Owens after the Steelers dropped three straight games, including a devastating Christmas Day loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Returning from a three-game absence following a hamstring injury, Pickens was expected to make an impact against defensive linemen.

But after three receptions for 50 yards, the third-year wideout faced scrutiny for his lack of production. Among those who called him was Hall of Famer Terrell Owens.

In response to a social media post about Cam Hayward's post game comments he said, “When 10 guys do their job and one guy doesn't, we get frustrated, ” Owens acknowledged that there is a similar issue with the offense.
“It's the same with the offense when you get # 14 out of line with its causes (prints),” Owens said in the X post.

Owens appeared to be talking about the game at the end of the first quarter. With the Chiefs leading 13-0, the veteran Russell Wilson added a deviation area to the end point. While taking ownership of the mistake, Wilson acknowledged that Pickens should have run a different route.
“Yeah, you know, I think he would go up. But, at the end of the day, it's not going to happen. It's up to me,” Wilson said. on FOX8. “I was trying to give Pat (Freiermuth) a chance. He did a good job for us down in the red zone, and they played a good game.”

The Steelers have lost three games in 11 days.
“The bottom line is that small varsity is not enough. We have to have it,” said head coach Mike Tomlin.
