What started As a joke of a fool in April nearly eight years ago it developed into a real tool for Nvidia.
The chipmaker Discovered An experimental version of Project G-Assist, AI's assistant designed to elevate computer experience to gamers and creators on Tuesday. The feature is available to GeForce RTX desktop users – its visual computer platform – through the NVIDIA application. The company said it would add wider support to a future date.
G-help-what was teased As a joke on Twitter back in 2018 and later demonstrated the computer exo in 2024 – helping users manage key computers, such as optimizing game and system performance, frame rate measurement and control features such as basic voice or voice commands.
Users can ask for real -time performance metric, such as latency and temperature and ask the system to optimize these metrics for specific games. According to the company, the assistant can also provide diagnostics and recommendations for reducing the bottlenecks of the system, improving energy efficiency and overclocking the GPU. Supports integration with third -party devices from companies such as Logitech G, Corsair and Nanoleaf by allowing users to bench or adjust the fan speeds, lighting and other custom settings.
The move comes when more companies are working to integrate human -like AI systems into their tools designed to take on their daily tasks and direct digital experiences.
Mr. Assist also arrives as Nvidia continues to transmit a wave of next-generation technologies. At its GPU Conference in 2025, CEO Jensen Huang Posted A package of tools aimed at helping humanoid robots learn how to be robots. The company also recently introduced its latest lineup of AI chips and shared its evolving vision of quantum showdown.
