The Oberoi Group recently introduced a new employment and skill development program called RISE (Refining and Investing in Skill Enhancement program). The initiative, launched on Friday, aims to provide education, training and certified hospitality careers to young people from diverse backgrounds.
The education program reflects the chain's 90-year commitment to exceptional hospitality and talent development with a focus on technical, soft skills and continuing education. Under the program, RISE plans to admit 1,800-2,000 trainees annually and by 2025, it plans to provide training in areas such as food and beverage services, kitchen operations, front office, housekeeping and laundry.
